"There are multiple drinking options in the hotel, but the best is probably out back in the garden. Hanging lights and widely spaced tables sit amongst lush foliage for perfect sundown sips or end of eve night caps..." – Paul Feinstein
The cocktail bar in the garden at the Hotel Alma Barcelona offers much more than what can be poured into a glass. The continuous 12 hour service allows guests to enjoy the garden, an inviting space to savour some delicious tapas, to taste the best coffees and teas in Barcelona, or to drink a special Alma cocktail accompanied by a light snack.
The carefully spaced tables permit peaceful conversation. The candlelit evenings and the chance to eat some classic tapas or creative Alma sandwiches make this space the ideal place to enjoy a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.
The suggestions offered by the cocktail bar invite guests to try a range of gastronomic delicacies. There is also a small selection of dishes on the menu of three-course meals available during the week.
The aperitif originated in Turin in 1786, when Antonio Benedetto Carpono, the creator of Vermouth, invented the idea of an accompanying snack in order to sell his new beverage. Nowadays, it is the best way to enjoy a good cocktail and the finest cuisine in a casual way.
From 6 p.m. every evening, the Alma bartender Gianluca Gabrieli concocts classic cocktails or his own reinterpretations of them, which are accompanied by our version of the Italian aperitif.
Moreover, the bar hosts most of the concerts in the Alma Music cycle.
